70 Years after the book" Why Johnny Can't Read-And What You Can Do About It" sparked a national debate and helped launch decades of reform efforts focused on foundational reading skills, Richmond Public Schools has demonstrably improved reading skills among its students. Join us to hear from Jason Kamras, RPS Superintendent, give updates on how the reform efforts are coming along. Our program will include lunch at Lewis Ginter in the Robins Meeting Room from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. You may also arrive as early as 11:30 am
